The school received a new elementary media center and a new administration building for the school year.
It includes self check out stands, new furniture, and officials say it's much more accessible to the elementary classrooms.
They say the brighter and more open space encourages their students in the accelerated reader program.
"Their building points to get things like their picture up on the bulletin board, we give out yard signs, we give out trophies at the end of the year and their doing it for that but in the end it's improving their reading skills along the way and that is very important across the curriculum, " Carolyn Wozow, Media Specialist at Cottonwood High School.
There were also several other libraries built at different schools in the county.
