NRA to Announce School Violence Recommendations Tuesday

The National Rifle Association is set to announce its recommendations for preventing gun violence at schools Tuesday.

The NRA first announced the National School Shield Program in December in response to the Newtown, Connecticut school massacre.

A website pledged to report back with a set of school safety proposals.

CNN has learned the report will include training recommendations to prepare armed guards at schools and legislative proposals for Congress.
