Tom Hanks is the most trusted person in America.
That's according to a poll published by Reader's Digest. This is one strange list.
Hanks topped the 100 list, ahead of a host of other celebrities, politicians and philanthropists, even ahead of President Obama.
"Miss Congeniality" actress Sandra Bullock came in second place.
"Good Morning America" co-host Robin Roberts made the list at number 12 as one of the top t.v. hosts.
"Jeopardy" host Alex Trebek landed a few spots ahead at 9th place.
Others who made the list:
CNN's Doctor Sanjay Gupta at number 17.
First lady Michelle Obama came in at number 19.
NFL player Tim Tebow, now a free agent, came in at number 40.
CNN anchor Anderson Cooper landed the 50th spot.
Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton ranked 51st.
And President Obama came in at number 65.
Reader's Digest said it asked 1,000 Americans for the poll. The goal was to "discover which individuals and the ideals they represent have earned our confidence."
