Airport Director Art Morris says ridership numbers are up 17% compared to last January.
They say in the first 6 months of 2013, the number of fliers were down.
Once ticket prices dropped, passenger numbers went up.
"They look at different markets and i guess they are looking at they're numbers and trying to maximize they're profitability and right now they see an opportunity in Dothan, they've given us good fairs, the ridership gone up, we're very happy about that, " says Airport Director Art Morris.
Morris says they have no control over ticket prices and encourages residents to take advantage of them while they last.
