Missing Alabama Teen Found Dead on Road

County Coroner Shaddix Murphy says Cameron McGlothan was found lying on a road March 12 and authorities used dental records to identify the teen.

The Talladega County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the District Attorney's office and Shelby County authorities.

Authorities have not disclosed details on how McGlothan died, but have ruled the teen's death a homicide.

McGlothan was reported missing March 7 and relatives have said they last saw him March 5.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the sheriff's investigation division at (256) 761-2141.
