Military Working Dog Adoptions

The "Military Working Dog Adoptions" group is helping war dogs find new homes after they're retired from service.

Each year, some 300 dogs are retired and put up for adoption, but many of them never make it back to the U.S.

The adoption organization is turning those numbers around. They'll transport the dogs anywhere in the country.

Now, 90 percent of retired war dogs are adopted by their former handlers.
