Here are some more submission from fans about why they enjoy My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! We'll be sharing even more of these, next week during our Web Wednesday segment! (And, stay tuned for more video submissions, to be added to this article at a later date!)
Jens Jepsen: "I've been a brony for over a year now, and one of my favorite things about the show is the amazing voice acting combined with good animation and lighthearted humor. All the characters have a unique and distinctive personality everybody (or everypony) can relate to in some way. Another thing worth mentioning is the fandom, the amount and quality of art, music, fan-animations etc. never ceases to amaze me."
Adam Banner: "The reason I, personally, like the show is quite simple. It has the quality writing, production values, acting, characters, and setting that other shows have. However, the very fact that it IS My Little Pony is what makes it so appealing. Nothing else that I watch even comes close filling the same role as MLP. It has it's own unique niche in my entertainment schedule, which makes it wonderfully refreshing."
Ryan Lowe: "I like the show because the characters work together and are able to put their differences aside to solve a common problem. This day, especially in politics and reality shows, people focus on always trying to have their way and win at all costs. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic does show some conflict but they are able to put their differences behind them and work together to solve the problem they face. Friendship is Magic also shows that not everything is easy, including friendship, but if you work together your friends can help you overcome your challenges."

Premiering on the then-new Hub Network in 2010, the latest version of “My Little Pony,” called “Friendship is Magic” was created by Lauren Faust. Faust was a veteran of animation, having written several acclaimed episodes of popular animated series such as “The Powerpuff Girls” and “Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.”
After a few months, “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” began to grow in popularity, especially throughout the internet. In addition to its target demographic of young girls, the new show gained an adult audience.
Soon after, they had a name: “Bronies,” a combination of the slang term “bro” and the word “pony.” While a significant segment of “Bronies” were young adult males, as the series continued, it continued to gain fans of all types: women, military, young boys, longtime animation fans, and more.
