UPDATE: Charges Man Faces For Troy Fatal Shooting

UPDATE: 11:30 AM

Police say 21-year old Troy University football player, Dimitri Miles shot and killed 26-year-old Marquise Jermaine Mclendon on Monday, Dec 16.

Miles will face a murder charge, receiving stolen property, and possession of marijuana.

Troy authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting.

It happened around 3 a.m. at the Troy Crossing Apartments on Brundidge Road.

Miles is now in custody at the Pike County jail.

His bond is set at $100,000.

Miles has been terminated from the football team following this investigation.
