With hurricane Iselle long gone, Hawaiians are breathing a sign of relief as Hurricane Julio passes well to their north.
As of this morning, the center of the storm was over 400 miles to the northeast of Honolulu and moving to the northwest.
Although the storm is producing large swells at the beaches, it poses no direct threat to the state.
Julio is expected to slowly weaken over the next few days, possibly becoming just a Tropical Storm later today.
