Jonathon Mincy Arrested for Marijuana Possession in Henry County

(DOTHAN) - According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office Auburn Defensive Back Jonathon Mincy has been arrested on 2nd degree marijuana possession.

According to the Sherriff's office Mincy was a passenger in the car, he was not driving.

Mincy was in the car with three other people.

Their car was pulled over on Highway 431 just before dark for doing 92 mph in a 65 mph.

Mincy, a three-year starter at cornerback for the defending SEC champions, was named in May to the 2014 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, which recognizes a defensive player who makes the biggest impact on and off the football field.

Mincy is currently out on $3,000 bond.

A senior from Decatur, Georgia, Mincy finished last season with 56 tackles and one interception. He was second on the team with 14 pass breakups.
