Elba police spent the majority of day tracking down an escaped inmate.
26-year-old Cedric Dewayne Eaton walked away from a work camp this morning around 9 A.M.
K-9 units found him several hours later, just a few miles away.
He was outside a home near the Elba Airport.
Eaton was in jail on robbery charges.
