An accident on Interstate 10 in Holmes County, Florida blocked traffic for a time and injured the driver and three passengers.
A GMC Sport Utility Vehicle was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 after 3pm on Sunday, March 31st, 2013.
One of the SUV’s tires began to separate, causing the vehicle to lose control. It veered into the median and overturned several times before coming to rest in the westbound lanes of I-10. Those lanes were blocked for about 30 minutes, but were re-opened soon after.
All four in the vehicle were treated at area hospitals, but are expected to make a full recovery. They were reported to be wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor.
The vehicle was estimated to have sustained nearly five thousand dollars worth of damage.
