ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens has announced a food drive competition that pits the state's lawyers against each other.
Olens and State Bar president Robin Frazer Clark introduced the second annual "Legal Food Frenzy" Tuesday at the Capitol. Goods collected in the statewide food drive will benefit the state's seven regional food banks.
The food drive will run from April 22 through May 3. All of the food collected in each region goes to a food bank in that region.
Last year's winner, Atlanta attorney Adrienne Hobbs, collected more than 25,000 pounds of food, the most per capita statewide, to take home the grand prize. She did so by renting a movie theater and selling tickets to a documentary about family members who were stunt pilots.
