Four Women Charged in Connection with Rash of Residential Burglaries

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Property Crimes Unit has identified four suspects in connection with a rash of recent residential burglaries throughout the Fort Walton Beach area.

25-year old Patricia Eubanks, 25-year old Caitlin Young, 35-year old Jennifer Forrester (no known addresses) and 30-year old Gwendolyn Bradley of 701 Shady Lane Drive, have confessed to twenty residential burglaries.

Three of those break-ins were committed in Santa Rosa County and the related information has been passed to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Section. Eleven of the seventeen victims from Okaloosa County have been identified so far and OCSO Investigators are working to identify the rest. Three search warrants have been executed in this case this month, including a hotel room at the Regency Inn on Miracle Strip Parkway where Eubanks and Young had been staying. $15,000 to $20,000 in suspected stolen property was recovered during the execution of the search warrants.

Some of the high value items recovered to date include seven flat screen televisions, thirteen cell phones, five computers, five gaming consoles and large amounts of gold and diamond jewelry.
Investigators are currently in the process of notifying victims to allow them the opportunity to identify and retrieve their property.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
