A Fort Walton Beach man has been found dead inside his apartment.
The death of Paris Quentin Matthews, 32, of Woodham Street, is now being investigated by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, Matthews was shot once around midnight at Rene Lynn Apartments after two men knocked on his door and barged in when he opened it.
The press release explains that the suspects are described as black males who were wearing hoodies and had their lower faces covered. They were last seen running on the north side of the apartment complex.
