A routine traffic stop in Daleville around 12 a.m. on Wednesday morning resulted in a civil servant impersonation charge.

Charles Bernard Huckeba is the former Deputy Coroner for Geneva County. He was recently relieved of his duties, and is no longer associated with the county.

However, when he was pulled over, he was still in possession of his shield and badge. According to police, both of those items are required to be turned in after service.

Drug paraphernalia and marijuana were also found in Huckeba’s car. He was released on bond from the Daleville City Jail on Wednesday morning .
