MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- The Alabama Forestry Association has thrown its support to the re-election campaign of state Attorney General Luther Strange.
The association's executive vice president, Chris Isaacson, said the attorney general has been there for the forestry industry, and it will be there for him in the 2014 election. He cited the attorney general's work on the Gulf oil spill litigation and other cases.
Strange said he's honored to have the association's support.
The association's political action committee, Forest PAC, is a major contributor in state political races. At this point, the Republican attorney general has no announced Democratic opponent.
The Forestry Association earlier announced its support for Gov. Robert Bentley's re-election campaign.
