And residents on Forest Park Drive say when it rains, the road floods.

One residents says her daughter missed school because the school bus would not drive down the street.

Residents say they have reached out for help but the road has not been fixed.

"The county doesn't care we have complained we have called they don't do do nothing it is excuses its like any other road in dale county can get fixed or get worked on but its because we live close to the river ," said Wendy Simmons, Dale County resident.

WTVY recently spoke with the road and bridge officials and they say one solution count be to build a levee to block the overflow of the water.
