Family and Friends Call Daisy Games a Living Legacy to Brittany Shepard Pugh and Son

OZARK -- The family of Brittany Shepard Pugh and her son, Shep, along with the Maude Martin Study Club invite the community to gather their teammates and sign-up for the 2nd Annual Daisy Games Mush Ball Tournament & Children's Festivities.

The games take place on August 9th at 8:00 a.m. at Steagall Park in Ozark. The cost is $30.00 per person or $300.00 per co-ed team. The deadline to sign-up is July 28th.

For the team registration forms, those interested can call (334)774-9321, email rpm001@centurytel.net, log onto www.daisygames.weebly.com, or visit the Daisy Games Facebook page.

Pugh's family and friends said this is a way to honor their loved one who enjoyed giving back to anyone who needed her. All the proceeds benefit the Brittany Shepard Pugh Legacy Fund.

The money raised will allow them to provide a young woman in the Dale County Schools or Ozark City Schools system with scholarship money for college.

"I feel like by hosting the Daisy Games and providing a young woman an opportunity to fulfill her dreams in life, I think she would be proud," Brooke Campbell, Pugh's sister, said.

Pugh and her son were victims in a 2011 car accident on Highway 231 near Bruindidge.
