PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for a Panama City Beach drunken driving crash that left a woman dead.
23-year-old Robert Michael Dick III was convicted of DUI manslaughter, leaving the scene of a deadly crash and DUI with serious bodily injury. Dick's driver's license was permanently revoked.
Authorities say Tiffany Pruett and Kerri Ann Hall were rear-ended in August 2012, causing their car to flip over into a ditch. Pruett was seriously injured, and Hall died.
Dick, who had been drinking at a bar that night, fled the scene but was found by police a short time later.
