Eye Infection Sidelines Costas in Olympic TV Hosting

One of the biggest stars of the Olympics has been sidelined.

Bob Costas missed Tuesday night's broadcast because of an eye infection.

"Today" host Matt Lauer replaced him.

Costas said in a statement that he couldn't do his job because his vision is so blurry.

It's the first time since 1988 that someone other than Costas hosted a prime-time Olympic telecast on NBC.
