On Wednesday, December 18 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation involving employee theft.

On Wednesday, December 18 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation involving employee theft.

Investigators say from December 9th through December 17th, 39-year-old Tammy Cordell, a former employee at K-Mart, located in the 2200 block of Ross Clark Circle, took over $2,000.00 in cash from the business and allowed over $900.00 in property to leave the store through fraudulent transactions.

Cordell was taken into custody and charged with first degree theft of property. Her arrest now brings this case to a close.

Cordell was arrested and charged with first degree Theft of Property. A bond amount has been set at $5,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
