A Dothan woman faces a theft of property charge after she allegedly took over $500 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Tuesday.
Dothan Police responded to the store on South Oates Street after receiving a theft in progress complaint. Investigators say Lea Nobles, 36, of East Saunders Road, was observed concealing store merchandise in her clothing, stroller and diaper bag while walking around the business.
As Nobles exited the store, she was stopped by arriving officers who recovered over the property from her.
Nobles was arrested and charged with second degree theft of property. Her bond has been set at $2,500.
