DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- A former Dothan attorney has been accused of stealing nearly $2 million from three victims.
Reports say that a Houston County grand jury indicted 52-year-old Frederick Mitchell "Mitch" McNab on nine counts of first-degree theft of property by deception. He's accused of theft of $1.3 million from Marcella West. He's also accused of the theft of more than $530,000 from two estates.
McNab's lawyers were out of their office on Tuesday and did not return a phone message seeking comment.
McNab practiced law in Dothan for 23 years until the Alabama State Bar suspended his law license in November.
