Elected officials received advice and government updates at the Dothan Civic Center on Tuesday night.
As many as 300 elected officials from almost 100 municipalities attended Dothan’s annual Municipal Association Meeting for the Second Congressional District.
Attendees were able to network with other officials and figure out ways to work together to benefit their residents.
“It means a lot when you are trying to get something, when you are trying to get something to your community and that is what it is all about, people helping people,” explained Mavlern Mayor Tom Vickers.
Congresswoman Martha Roby and Alabama House of Representative Steve Clouse were also at the meeting. They were on-hand to give elected officials updates from the state and national level.
