The Dothan City School system is raising money for Relay for Life.
Saturday, a pancake breakfast was held at Applebee's.
More than 500 pancake breakfasts were sold.
The system's goal is to raise $27,500.
"It's a cause that I think affects a lot of people's lives in our community. They either have cancer or a loved one has cancer. It's definitely a cause worth supporting," said Emily Mann, 6th grade teacher, Carver Magnet School.
There will be more fundraisers held. You can learn more at the Dothan City Schools website.
