A Southwest Georgia city is looking to its past, to create a better future.
Five years ago, the Donalsonville Chamber of Commerce began a downtown visionary study through the University of Georgia’s Fanning Institute.
The group does one small project at a time. They started with planting trees, getting Victorian street signs and even raising money for an old police station replica.
The Donalsonville News is kick-starting the historical showcase. If you want to get involved with the project, contact the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce.
