Comic Con Cosplay: People in Costumes

You can't talk about Comic Con without talking about the costumes.

The convention started its four day run in San Diego, California Friday (7/19).

It doesn't matter who you are you can be anybody at Comic-con.

Nearly 130 thousand people are expected at Comic con this year and many of them will leave their old lives behind.

It’s called "cos-play" short for costume play.

Fans dress up as their favorite characters from comics, film, TV and video games.

They invest a lot of time and money to make sure they look the part.

For the human being comic book Bug Mitchell this is chance to show off his own character and the five hundred dollars he spent on the motor cross gear and ski poles pays dividends.

Alan Armis spent seven months constructing his samurai suit.

Their costumes are different but he says it's the same experience for the ones who go all out.
