Cancer Patient Raises $183 Thousand for Research

A small town in southwestern Indiana shows its support for a young cancer victim.
Sam Featherstone is a 19-year-old college freshman from Newburgh, who has been battling brain cancer for the past three years.
Sam has exhausted all his treatment options and is now under hospice care.
He managed to make an appearance at his special benefit Thursday night.
He raised more than 183-thousand dollars for St. Jude's Research Hospital .
Sam wants to help find a cure for childhood brain cancer
He has organized the website SAMSTRONG.org to help raise money and awareness to do that.
