PRICHARD, Ala. (AP) -- Authorities are looking for an Alabama prison inmate who appears to have escaped.
An Alabama Department of Corrections report says inmate Mark Todd Johnson was found to be missing during an institutional bed verification count around 11 p.m. Friday.
According to prison records, Johnson, who's 33, was sentenced in April 2012 to serve 18 years in prison on a forgery charge.
Johnson had been held at the Mobile Work Release Center in Pritchard. According to the Department of Corrections website, the facility can hold 55 community and minimum custody inmates.
