Australia Holds New Burn Out Record

CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA - Australia broke the Guinness World Record for the most number of burnouts happening at the same time in Canberra on Friday (January 4).

Local media reported more than 10,000 people witnessed the 69 cars simultaneously spinning their tires for 30 seconds.

Local media added it took months to organize the attempt. More than 200 people were involved in putting the event together.

The annual Street Machine "Summernats", short for Summer Nationals, ends on Sunday (January 7).
