Roads are also snow packed and icy in northwest New Mexico, leaving difficult driving conditions from Jemez Springs to the Los Alamos County Line.
Officials urge drivers to use caution.
Wind advisories are also in place across southeast and east central New Mexico for gusts up to 55 mph.
While the snow may not last long, the storm is expected to bring cold temperatures Thursday night.
