Alabama's Legislative Session Has Kicked Off

Alabama's legislative session kicked off a few minutes ago in Montgomery.

It's getting off to a faster-than-normal start.

The house and senate usually meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

But legislative leaders say they'll meet 3-days a week for the first two weeks and then several times later in the session in hopes of getting work done by early April.

Governor Robert Bentley will outline his proposal tonight at 6:30.
