Alabama Woman Suffers Minor Burns in Mobile Home Fire

Fire officials say an Alabama woman suffered minor burns in a mobile home fire in Monrovia.

Reports say the fire broke out at about 10:20 A.M.

Saturday inside the single-wide mobile home.

Monrovia Assistant Fire Chief Pete Mehok says firefighters had the blaze under control within five minutes of arriving on the scene.

He says one room and its contents burned, while the rest of the home had smoke and water damage throughout.

The fire displaced three people living in the mobile home.

They're getting assistant from the local Red Cross.

Mehok says the woman who had minor burns was treated at the scene by emergency responders.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
