A local republican party had the opportunity to listen to a candidate for the Alabama Public Service Commission.
Phillip Brown, spoke to the Dale County Republican Party Monday night about why he's running for office.
Brown discussed his goals for the Public Service Commission. In addition to sharing about the PSC, he shared about GOP minorities running for office and what we can do to help them.
"As a public service commissioner, my intention is to-number one-to make sure there is a balence between what the rate payer pays for their electric and utilities, as well as what the profits of the companies are,"says Brown.
The Alabama Public Service primary election is June 3rd of next year. The general election is the first Tuesday in November of next year.
