Alabama Power School Supply Drive

Today Alabama Power held a school supply drive for the Ashford Elementary School.

Donations included crayons, pencils, rulers, paper towels, and even tablets.
Donors also had the opportunity to visit the American Red Cross bus and give blood.

“We decided to couple with the red cross because donations are down ten percent and we thought it would be great to have the red cross out as customers are coming through,” said Carolyn Evans, office manager of Alabama Power.

Along with school supplies, they collected about 600 dollars for the Ashford Elementary School.
