Gov. Robert Bentley is headed to Auburn for an economic development announcement.

A spokesman for the governor says the announcement will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Auburn Conference Center. The governor's office isn't revealing much about the project, other than it will bring new jobs to Lee County.

Bentley was in Lee County a little more than a year ago to celebrate the start of construction on a GE Aviation plant in Auburn and a Pharmavite dietary supplement plant in Opelika.
