There are some changes coming for more than 100 million Microsoft Windows Live Messenger users.
The company is shutting down it's own chat service and referring users to Skype.
It's the first change customers will see since Microsoft bought Skype back in 2011 for 8-point-5 billion dollars.
Chatters can use their current log-in information and all contact lists will automatically update in the Skype software.
Windows Live Messenger debuted in 1998 as MSN Messenger.
