Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon for six family members slain last week in Crenshaw County. Relatives said a funeral mass will be held in the Luverne High School Auditorium, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The six will be buried at the Little Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Meanwhile, the man charged with the killings made his first court appearance Tuesday. Twenty-two-year-old Westley Devone Harris, who is charged with six counts of capital murder was given a court-appointed lawyer by District Judge William King.
