The landscape along the Gulf of Mexico has been dotted with FEMA trailers since Hurricane Katrina struck two years ago.
Many families have moved in and out of the trailers since the storm struck and these homes have given some hurricane survivors a way to get back on track to a normal life.
However, thousand of other families still remain in those trailers.
FEMA counselors have handed out notices to residents along Bayou Lla Batre informing them to start looking for new places to live.
No move out deadline has been given to residents, but some have been given apartment listings.
