Dothan City School officials say every little bit helps as State Senator Harri-Anne Smith gives them $10,000.
Tuesday, Smith handed off the check to school board member Gayla White.
White says the money will be used to fill in the 'Small Gaps' in the classrooms.
She says gaps which need to be filled include adding additional computers in the schools and financing the music program in the elementary and middle schools.
This money is allocated to various school systems annually.
