Two people were found shot to death in Andalusia Monday morning and the suspected killer was also found dead a short time later.
It happened in the Covington County, City of Andalusia. Andalusia is about 64 miles Northeast of Dothan.
Andalusia police responded to a 911 call around 4 a.m. at the intersection of County Roads 25 and 42.
That's were they found the bodies of 46-year-old Rhett Mulkey and 42-year-old Karen Jones. Both had multiple gunshot wounds.
A witness said a Ford Ranger belonging to Karen Jones' estranged husband, Bobby, was seen leaving the area. Police found Jones' truck at his house on County Road 4 in the Wing Community.
After a search of the house and surrounding area, police found Bobby Jones' body in a nearby wooded area. He had an apparent self-inflicted fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
