At Least Two Die in Weekend Traffic Accidents

UNDATED, Ala. (AP) - Alabama state troopers say at least two people were killed in traffic accidents on the state's rural roadways over the weekend.

Troopers said a 57-year-old man died Sunday night when the vehicle he was driving ran off Lowndes County Road 33 and overturned. the victim was identified as Ronnie Dunklin of Letohatchee.

A two vehicle wreck in Calhoun County claimed the life of a 69-year-old Weaver man.

Troopers said Charles Jackson Burns was killed Sunday morning when the car he was driving struck another vehicle on U.S. 431, about 4 miles north of Anniston.

The accident occurred at about 7:01 a.m.
