Jurors deciding the Scott Peterson murder trial are hearing tapes Wednesday in which he's telling his mistress that he could spend his life with her.
According to transcripts, the conversations took place just days after his wife, Laci, disappeared.
Amber Frey continues her testimony in the Redwood City, California, courtroom where Scott Peterson is on trial for allegedly killing his wife and their unborn child.
Frey recorded phone conversations with him at the request of police investigating Laci Peterson's disappearance. The transcript of one played in court today had Peterson telling her that they could be "wonderful together" for the rest of their lives.
She testified that she started the recordings after discovering on Dec. 29, 2002, that her lover was married, and that he was suspected in his wife's disappearance.
