An employee of the Elba City School System has been arrested and more than 20 juveniles face alcohol charges after a raid on a weekend party at her home.
48-year-old Lynn Baker is a counselor at Elba Elementary School.
She and her husband were arrested by alcoholic beverage control board agents on a misdemeanor charge of having an open house party.
ABC agents say 15 petitions were signed against minors in possession of alcohol.
One juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct and six 18 and 19 year old juveniles were arrested for possessing alcohol.
Elba School Superintendent Danny Weeks says that baker has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending a review by legal counsel under board policy.
