UNDATED, Ala. (AP) - There appears to be no end in sight to the relentless heat wave that has baked Alabama.
Wednesday will mark the 10th straight day of 100 degree plus temperatures.
New record highs were set Tuesday across the state. The thermometer peaked at 106 in Tuscaloosa and Montgomery; it was 104
in Birmingham; The high in Huntsville and Muscle Shoals was 103.
National Weather Service meteorologists say rain chances look bleak for central and north Alabama.
Meanwhile, a heat advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. for counties in southwest Alabama.
