Education Building Breaks Ground

Troy University broke the ground on a new education building Friday.

Jack Hawkins Jr. Hall will be named in honor of Chancellor Jack Hawkins.

The hall will be the administrative offices and faculty offices for the College of Education.

The building will follow the university's largest ever construction project; that of the Trojan Village Residence Halls valued at $25 million dollars.

Hawkins has been the universities chancellor since September of 1989.
