Enterprise's New Farmers Market

Alabama Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks has signed a $100,000 check earmarked for Enterprise's new Farmers Market.

Facility will be built at the intersection of north main street and Highway 134 in Enterprise.

Mayor Kenneth Boswell says architects will first gather input from growers and customers on what's needed.

The new Coffee County Farmers Market is expected to be built by 2009.

The current facility is located behind the old, downtown Enterprise train depot.
