Bond Set for Driver Charged in Deadly High Speed Chase

The bond for a North Alabama man who was arrested following a deadly high-speed chase from Florida to Dothan has been set.

19-year-old Phillip Lutz is charged with murder in the death of 66-year-old James Williamson of Goshen.

Houston County Sheriff's department investigators say a truck driven by Lutz collided with Williamson's van on Cottonwood Road on July 21st.

Lutz was fleeing from law enforcement at the time of the crash.

Bond is set at $500,000.
