Salt Lake City police resume their search with cadaver dogs as they look for Lori Hacking in a city landfill.
Her husband Mark Hacking was arrested Monday as he was about to be released from a psychiatric ward. Prosecutors say he told a "reliable citizen" witness at the facility that he killed his wife as she slept and dumped her body in a trash bin.
Police also got a tip from a neighbor who found a foul-smelling liquid in the bottom of his trash bin after it was collected the day the woman was reported missing.
An affidavit states that investigators found human blood on a knife in the bedroom of Mark Hacking's apartment and on the couple's headboard and bed rail. It also states that blood found in the bedroom matched traces of blood found in Lori Hacking's car.
